Robert W. McKenzie
Mr. McKenzie has been a Director of MetroNet since July 1996, and serves
as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. McKenzie was
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company from
July 1996 until October 1997. Mr. McKenzie is currently
the President of RSM Investment Ltd., a shareholder of
the Company, and is the Secretary of 354869 Alberta Ltd.,
a consulting company.
From January to December 1996, Mr.
McKenzie was a consultant and strategic advisor to the
Chief Executive Officer for TransCanada PipeLines
Limited, prior to which time he was President of
TransCanada Energy Management Ltd. from October 1994 to
December 1995. Prior to joining TransCanada Energy
Management Ltd., Mr. McKenzie served as President of
Northridge Canada Inc. and as Executive Vice President of
Northridge Petroleum Marketing Inc., an energy marketing
and trading company that was built from start up to a
company with over $3 billion in revenue on an annual
basis and which was purchased by TransCanada PipeLines
Limited in 1994.
Mr. McKenzie is a Chartered Accountant
with 10 years experience with KPMG.
